Thank you OPEN ambassadors

Andy Kessler - 06-Mar-2015
When we started with OPEN one thing was clear for us from the start: We will never do classic sponsoring. The money needed for it and the commitment from the athletes is just not in relation to each other. How many athletes change brands almost as often as their underwear, always looking for the best deal? And funny enough their current bike is always the best they have ever ridden…Not what we are looking for.

We believe in true partnership and brand ambassadors that are really behind the brand because we share similar philosophies and values and not because they get stuff for free and prize money.

In this years Cape Epic we had two teams on our bikes (or lets say rather one and a half…). The OPEN-Kappius Team (mixed) with Coralie and Jeff and the Assos Werksmannschaft (masters) with Karl. Unfortunately we could not deliver our fully for Daniele so he was using one from another brand. Both teams were going very strong and had multiple podiums during the race. The Open Kappius team had 4 podiums and ended up 3rd overall and the Assos Werksmannschaft almost won the last stage and in the end was also 3rd overall.  An incredible strong performance of both teams. But more important than that, all of them are true friends of OPEN and also show that in their blogs and social media activities. Whenever we are together we have also  a lot of fun and share good moments.

Dear Coralie, Jeff, Karl and Daniele. We would like to thank you for being great persons, incredible athletes and excellent ambassadors. We owe you something and hope we can pay back next time we see each other.

Now just relax, recover quickly and safe travels back to the colder side of this world.

Do u have a Size recommendation based on you height?
I’m 1,8m could a go for a medium or large size frame? I don’t want a frame that’s too large, that I have to have a short seat post and really short stem. I rader have a longer seat post and a normal stem.
Best regards Peter
