Happy Holidays with the U.P. 2.0 Sand
New color for the U.P. 2.0
One thing is for sure about the U.P. 2.0 in Farn color; people either love it or hate it. And for that second group, we are now shipping a second color: Sand.
Although it looks more subdued at first, it really works nicely with our new solid/outline logo on the downtube. I won't risk putting a name on the logo color (it was hard enough to agree on "Sand") but it's a nice combo and pairs well (see what I did there) with lots of recent apparel collections in those earth tones (if something like that matters to you).
What doesn't change
Most importantly, it's still a blazingly fast U.P. 2.0 with aero front, comfort rear, extra cargo capabilities and the agile handling you expect from us.
Batch 1 has already shipped to our dealers around the world - they may still have some available as they just got them. The next batch is being built at our Portugal factory right now and will ship just after the Holidays. You can already order it in the webstore. And Farn lovers need not dispair, it will remain available!
In the gallery you see the U.P. 2.0 Sand built with our standard Force XPLR AXS kit with Transmission rear derailleur and Zipp 303 XPLR S. Frameset including the full one-piece handlebar/stem goes for €/US$ 4,500, the full bike as shown for €/US$ 8,000. Of course further upgrades to Red XPLR or 303 XPLR SW are also possible.
Wirklich eine sehr schöne Farbe! Ich zögere nur noch weil ich abwarten will welche weiteren Farben noch kommen ;)
I am happy with my UP bike today. How would you describe the differences with the UP 2.0 vs the UP? I do not need a new bike today.
Love it!
Thanks Jay!
I've owned and loved both a WIDE and UP, and followed the launch of the new UPPER and UP with great interest. However, the lack of downtube storage on the new bikes is a deal-breaker for me, especially on a gravel bike. Having tools and what have you cleanly stuffed in the downtube is so much better, both practically and aesthetically than lugging around a saddlebag. You're clearly practical and thoughtful designers, so what's the rationale behind your choice?
Hi there, good question. We don't have anything against downtube storage, in fact we have several prototypes with them. But right now we are not happy with what we see in the market. But who knows what the future holds
But I just said yesterday I didn’t need another bike … 😍
We insincerely apologize!
