BOTM: Defender TWOxONE - part 2

Marc Gasch - 24-Dec-2016
Thanks for the fun comments on part 1 of this Bike Of The Month about the inspiration of this month's bike, the classic Land Rover Defender. A a little Christmas present, here is the photo gallery:

Let me know what you think. And one more word on RTP (Ready-To-Paint) frames: OPEN has a few RTP U.P. frames every month (so contact Andy or your OPEN retailer if you're interested) but no plans for RTP ONE+ frames at this point. Of course, if a ton of you want one, Andy and Gerard may reconsider.

Specs of this BOTM will be up next week.

Mixed feedback on the post. This exact Ergon post was first on Andy's U.P. (a previous BOTM), but he didn't like it in the end so he gave it to Marc. Not sure if he likes it, if not it may appear on one of my future BOTMs :-)

Amazing looking frame with clearance for fat 29er wheels, sweet. Can't wait to see the geometry.

Hi Doug, the geometry is our standard ONE+ geo, so you can find that here: http://opencycl...plus.

This frame is my favorite all-around frame (from anyone), but in my eyes the front disc brake/mount destroys the ultra-clean lines of the bike.

Wow what an awesome bike! I'm now thinking to get my own bike spray painted in the same color, I know the color is pastel green but can you tell me what the color code is?
