BOTM: ONE + ONE - part 2

Andy Kessler - 16-May-2017
Last week you could see a short introduction video of the ONE + ONE. As a small brand we can not only think out of the box when we design our frames but also when we spec them with new products. We have done that 5 years ago when we started OPEN and put a Lauf fork on our 1.0 hardtail frame and we still continue to do so. Of course a lot of the things we try we end up not liking, so you will never see them featured. But once in a while we think it's worth sharing with you and voila, we have another Bike Of The Month.

So here comes the full gallery of the May 2017 Bike Of The Month:

Hello,

I would like to know whether Open will launch a new Road bike? I heard something about a new project and It would be really interested for me... If yes, when?

Hi Carles, we always work on new stuff but actually we never know when and if we bring it to the market. So just keep following us that is the best way to stay up to date.

have a nice day

We're always thinking about new projects but we never know if/when things will materialise. That's the problem when we try to push the envelope, we never know where it exactly leads. Of course we don't really care too much about how long things takes, we're not in a rush.

Thanks for the Best Hardtail on the Planet...

Where's the detailed parts/build list? Those rotors look amazing. And expensive.

Would you provide a good list of shimano components for a frame build? My thought was a 42/36 chain ring, but I really would like to put a recommended list together. Would like a setup that works for just about any type of ride??

Thanks,

Alan Montgomery

Hi Alan, if you go to the gallery section, you will see a lot of different builds in the BOTM galleries and all include a slide with the specs. Hope that helps. Not sure why you want a 42/36 combo, that either leads to a lot of overlap or a lot of double-shifting?
