BOTM:OPEN X MALOJA EDITION: SOUL IN THE WOODS U.P. - PART 2

Andy Kessler - 18-Dec-2020
As anticipated, this limited OPEN x Maloja edition has been very popular. Right now for those who have expressed interest the chance is around 15-25% (depending on size) to get one...

As mentioned in the first part of this BOTM blog, we have come together with Maloja and industry friends to create a unique piece of art. Besides Maloja who was responsible for the beautiful design, Trickstuff and Beast-Components joined us for the technical equipment.

Here are the detail specifications of the complete bike. We offer only the frame set but for sure I can find you a dealer that builds you one exactly like that.

Hi
I have a 2 year old Open UP that I give a fair amount of off road abuse and in return it gives me lots of fun. My bottom bracket is now ceasing up. It is a SRAM BB386EVO and the crankset is SRAM Force 1. Is there a bottom bracket that you would recommend that is potentially more durable and water resistant?
Festive greetings

Hi, I have an Open UP 2018 (2 years owned) And I’m in my 4th Bottom bracket? Contemplating a Hambini custom made one, would you recommend as they are quite expensive. To be honest, for the money I have paid for the bike, I did t expect to disappointed.

Look forward to a response,

Kind regards

Graham

i apologize, but I have lost your previous answer to a question I asked sometime ago. I am planning on flying and would like to bring my Open Min.D. along. Based on your experience, which travel case have you found to best protect a bike with a seat mast? Sorry to ask you to repeat yourself.

Hi Cameron, no problem at all. This one will work: Scicon Aero Comfort Road 3.0. They have also a tool called "will your bike fit" on their website.

Dear Gino, yes you theoretically can do that it already has a base layer on it. if you ride a lot in salty conditions or high UV I still would recommend you to put a clear coat on it.
