BOTM: ONE MORE - part 2

My
last Blog about our small ONE + did not raise as many questions as I thought.... I guess thats a good sign.
But I get still many questions about the fact that you can fit two different wheel sizes in our ONE+ frame (or better in one frame). It is really simple if you compare wheel radius. For example:
29x2.1 = 367
27.5x3.0=363
the same can be said for 27.5 with 2.25 and 26 with 3.0
Another concern I hear often is that Plus size tires have a lot of rolling resistance. In fact I thought the same and was sure that Plus size is no fun to ride. But at the end I was really surprised how small the difference is. The only downside of Plus tires is when you are cornering on the road. Because of the low tire pressure (around 1bar/14PSI) you get a pretty spongy feeling in sharp turns on tarmac. But thats not really what this bike is made for.
I made up my mind what the next "country build" is gonna look like. More about it early next year. First the detail specs of the American ONE
...and if you are interested in that bike its for sale at one of our Dutch dealers. Let me know
