Red Bull Velodux 2017

2 years ago we had two teams participating at the Red Bull Velodux Cross Race. This year we had 4 teams riding their OPEN U.P. and U.P.P.E.R.
OPEN took part at a press event with DT Swiss 2 days before the race (more about that in our december BOTM) and therefore we had 4 European journalists and 2 DT Swiss staff member lining up at the start after 2 great days of bike packing in the Swiss Jura.
As in 2015 we had  also the Velosophe Beer team riding OPEN's, Damien the owner of the Velosophe bicycle shop does not only know how to make good beer but comes also from a family with long racing tradition. This year he lined up with Joséphine at the start line and that was a clever move as she is a very strong and skilled athlete with a great personality. They were flying trough the course and at the end winning the mixed category. Also this event looks like a fun event, during the race it is very competitive. For best performance Damien was on a U.P.P.E.R with 27.5 wheels with 2.1 tires and Joséphine on the new U.P. with 29 wheels and 40mm tires.
